Working Hard For All To Have A Good Nights SleepOur motivation at Livn Lite comes from choosing to donate a substantial portion of the profits from your sale to organizations working hard for the needs of others and for preserving the environment. Our store moto, "Working hard for all to have a good nights sleep" reflects our devotion to caring for the needs of the homeless, in particular, by providing shelters with beds and mattresses for their facilities. Amnesty International (AI) is a worldwide movement of people who campaign for internationally recognized human rights. The Sierra Club is America's most effective advocate for the environment and helps you protect the environment locally and globally. Since 1893 the Milwaukee Rescue Mission has maintained a firm commitment to bringing compassionate hope to our city's disadvantaged and homeless. Originally, MRM provided shelter solely for homeless men, an outreach continuing today through our Safe Harbor programming. In 1991, MRM's Joy House opened its doors, offering emergency care for homeless mothers and their children. In 1992, MRM's addition of academic and recreational programs for inner city youth marked the beginnings of its CrossTrainers program. The Counseling Center of Milwaukee (TCCM)
For over 35 years, TCCM has helped those we serve to take charge of their lives, connect to others, and contribute to the community. Our programs are designed to protect children, strengthen individuals and families, and improve the emotional and mental health of our neighbors struggling with difficult challenges. In partnership with generous individual supporters, foundations, businesses, faith communities, and government more than 11,000 people each year are able to find...safety, hope and healing.
